| Fair held to raise fund for cataract campaign |
 Active volunteers organized a fair to contribute to the cataract campaign conducted in 10 African countries. The fair being held in Pendik will last until August 12. Volunteers of the IHH Humanitarian Relief Foundation are working incessantly. The IHH volunteers residing in Pendik district of Istanbul organized a fair to raise fund for the foundation’s cataract campaign.
The fair, which will last until August 12 in Pendik, is drawing huge interest. The money raised in the fair will be used to operate on cataract victims in Africa. All concerned people are expected to contribute to the fair. Meanwhile, the IHH, which has mobilized with the slogan “If you help they will see,” is continuing bringing cataract victims to the light in 10 African countries. The health team of the IHH has so far operated on thousands of people in Benin, Togo, Ghana, Niger and Pakistan. Infrastructural works are ongoing to perform cataract operations in other countries as well. African people are sending their thanks to the Turkish people who help bringing them out of the darkness through 100 new Turkish liras donation.
