Beninese minister asks for help
Delivering a speech during the ceremony, Dr. Yaro said, “We know Turkey and Turkish people. Turkish people are benevolent and concerned about problems of other countries. We want Turkish people to help Benin not only through health projects but also in other humanitarian aid projects.”

IHH officials visited patients following operations. Patients were asked to express their feelings after their bandages were removed. They raised their hands praying to God for seeing the light after years of darkness and thanked Turkish people for the help. It was the first time Done, whose both eyes suffered from cataract, could see her mother. Those who were present were moved when they saw Done embracing her mother and staring at her eyes for a long period of time.
